The Scuba Skills Update is the perfect way to refresh your diving techniques with an SSI professional by your side. You’ll review and practice the essential skills from your Open Water Diver training, so you can jump back into your next dive trip feeling relaxed, sharp, and fully in control.

Whether you’ve been out of the water for a while, have an upcoming vacation, or simply want to polish your abilities, this program helps you get back into diving shape without stress. And if you’re still in training and haven’t completed your Open Water Diver certification yet, this is a fantastic opportunity to refine your skills before your open water sessions.

Your refresher takes place at Casa Cenote, a stunning natural environment filled with crystal-clear waters flowing between mangroves and the ocean. You’ll be surrounded by the magic of freshwater and saltwater wildlife—blue crabs, tarpons, snappers, young barracudas, and more—as you fine-tune your skills in one of Tulum’s most iconic cenotes.
